Life Coaching interview with Hesta on Namakwaland Radio today.

  1. First off I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!

Hi Howard. Thank you so much for the nice comment. I don’t know if this will help you, but I try and write disciplined every day. Even if i do not know exactly what I want to write I just sit and write. I recently read Julia Cameron’s “‘The artist’s way” again and she also suggests that you write at least three pages every day even if what you write is just nonsense. It is just about getting the thoughts out on paper. This book is great if you feel creatively blocked. I focus very much on one subject in my head and find that I write easily once I sit down to write. Please let me know how it goes. I hope you enjoy my future blogs. I try to write one every week.

  2. I like this weblog so much, saved to my bookmarks. “I don’t care what is written about me so long as it isn’t true.” by Dorothy Parker.
